NEW SYSTEMS ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOMATED RAIL SYSTEMS FOR A TOP COMPANY IN THE AREA JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Systems Engineer to generate functional requirements based on customer specifications and maintain system and product requirements in IBM DOORS database. The ideal candidate will prepare and review design documentation, participate in occasional customer meetings, and collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure alignment of functional requirements with implementation. JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Generate functional requirements based on customer specifications Enter and maintain system and product requirements in IBM DOORS database Prepare and review design documentation Participate in occasional customer meetings Prepare and review testing procedures Work with hardware and software engineers to align functional requirements with implementation Experience with requirements writing (5+ years) Proficiency in requirements management tool (preferably IBM DOORS) Strong understanding of systems engineering principles Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Work Environment Hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the office.
