Required skills (to include and not limited to):

  • Experience with precision tooling and fixture design.
  • Experience with manufacturing process development and exploration.
  • Experience in Machine Design
  • Demonstrated full system or product ownership.
  • Experience with precision mechanism design.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical system design.
  • Experience with optical component packaging.
  • Experience with drawing creation, tolerance analysis, and GD&T. SolidWorks or similar.
  • Experience with quick-turn fabrication processes (3D printing, machining, molding).
  • Experience with design for human factors optimization.
  • Experience with test and measurement together with data driven system performance evaluation.

Additional skills:

  • Thermal management and testing experience
  • Strong materials background, and experience with physical property characterization

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years
  • Broad engineering experience with industry focus.
  • MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
