Aerotek is hiring 1st shift Mechanical Assembler for leading manufacturing clients in Simi valley, CA, starting pay rate of $20 - $23 per hour. Attractive benefits are available.

Description:

  • Assembling small unmanned arial system drones.

  • Wire harnessing and cable assembly.

  • Mechanical assembly of sub assemblies using hand and/or power tools.

  • Final assembly of ground control equipment.

  • Testing and troubleshooting.

Work Environment/shift timings

This is a manufacturing environment. It is extremely clean and quiet on the manufacturing floor.

1st shift opportunities are available.

Monday - Friday: 6:00AM to 4:30PM | but could be flex with these hours if the candidate needs .

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have: 2+ years of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience.

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Experience with hand tools such as crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools.

  • Be able to read blue prints and/or schematics.

  • Basic computer operation skills.

  • They will be open to someone with 1 year of experience as long as it is a strong candidate.
