  • $60,000 annual salary with bonus target of $10,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Classroom Engagements: Design and support daily in-class events that are both fun and aligned with our learning objectives, inviting parents and educators to actively engage in the child's learning journey.
  • End-of-Day Events: Develop engaging, parent-friendly activities at pick-up times to encourage family interaction and reinforce learning concepts in a playful way.
  • Seasonal Traveling Events: Coordinate and oversee seasonal programs, such as our mobile planetarium and themed curriculum activities, to provide consistent and exciting learning experiences across all locations.

Educator Support and Collaboration:

  • Build strong partnerships with educators, ensuring they feel supported, valued, and energized by event activities and enrichment programming.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and coordinate events that complement classroom activities, providing educators with resources and ideas that enhance their teaching objectives.
  • Act as a resource for educators, fostering a positive, collaborative relationship that brings added value to their daily routines and curriculum goals.

Community and Parent Engagement:

  • Act as the primary contact for parent engagement, gathering feedback, and fostering community through meaningful, curriculum-aligned activities.
  • Encourage parents to share their experiences on social media, supporting brand growth and community ties.
  • Social Media and Content Creation:
  • Regularly post to our social media platforms, highlighting the unique, joyful experiences within our centers.
  • Capture high-quality photos and short-form videos at events, emphasizing the values and learning benefits of our childcare environment.
  • Collaborate with parents to gather testimonials and secure social media shoutouts to enhance our online presence.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Work closely with the CMO to align engagement strategies with our mission and curriculum goals.
  • Provide regular updates on event success, curriculum alignment, parent feedback, vendor management, and social media performance.

Third-Party Enrichment Provider Management:

  • Manage partnerships with external enrichment providers (e.g., gymnastics, music, karate) to enhance our centers' offerings.
  • Ensure that vendor programming aligns with our curriculum goals, providing enriching experiences that engage children in active learning.
  • Oversee vendor selection, programming, and scheduling, and manage enrichment budgets to secure high-quality, affordable programming that supports our educational mission.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Planning, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in event management, community engagement, or a similar role; experience in childcare, hospitality, or early childhood education is preferred.
  • An interest in curriculum and child development to ensure all events are engaging and supportive of learning objectives.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, programming, and budgets.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural talent for building relationships with parents, children, educators, and staff.
  • Reliable Transportation: This role requires travel between our locations; therefore, reliable transportation is essential.

Additional Requirements:

  • Background Record Check (BRC): In compliance with Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) regulations, the candidate must undergo a comprehensive BRC, including:
  • Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check.
  • Department of Children and Families (DCF) check for supported findings of abuse or neglect.
  • Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) check.
  • Fingerprint-based check of state and national criminal history databases.
  • Fingerprinting: A fingerprint-based criminal background check is required to determine the suitability of the candidate.

Why Join Us?

This is a unique opportunity to bring joy, learning, and community building to a fast-growing childcare organization that values creativity, connection, and fun. If you're passionate about creating memorable, educational experiences, engaging with families, and making a positive impact on children's lives-and if you thrive on supporting and energizing educators-we'd love to meet you.
