Senior Controls Engineer

What we would like to see:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field required. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 10+ years related experience in leading control system design and related hardware specification and selection.
- Experience with Rockwell and/or other similar PLC platforms.
- Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI) and/or SCADA systems.
- AutoCad Electrical knowledge helpful.
- General knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors and motors.
- Experience with AC/DC electrical systems and components such as VFD's, power supplies, relay logic, etc.
- Experience leading troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of automated machine systems, components, and electrical devices.
- Detailed knowledge of NEC (National Electric Code) and other international electrical codes such as IEC and CSA.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal team on a regular basis, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be good at multi-tasking and running multiple projects in different stages of completion at once.
- High organizational skills are required to maintain and track all project correspondence and documentation.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a changing environment.
