THE POSITION

The Staffing Specialist will be involved in the recruitment and onboarding of educators who share RCA's commitment to providing a high-quality Catholic education.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the RCA national leadership team in identifying staffing needs.
  • Implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified and passionate educators who align with the academy's mission and values.
  • Conduct thorough candidate searches, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews for teaching and administrative positions.
  • Manage the recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and the academy.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions to familiarize new staff with the academy's mission, policies, and procedures.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, and compatibility with the academy's mission and values.
  • Coordinate with Regional Managers to ensure the selection of highly qualified and dedicated staff.
  • Provide constructive feedback to candidates and support them through the hiring process.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary information and resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff qualifications, certifications, and professional development activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment and staffing, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with Catholic education principles and a commitment to the mission of the academy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines are provided. Tutors are trained to provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal applicant will have strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
