Job Description:

  1. Collaborate with project teams, developers, testers, and business analysts to understand test data requirements for software testing.
  2. Analyze existing test data management processes and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Develop and implement test data management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  4. Design and maintain test data repositories, including creating, anonymizing, and provisioning test data sets.
  5. Implement and configure test data management tools and solutions to automate data generation, masking, and provisioning processes.
  6. Work closely with data owners and stakeholders to identify sensitive data elements and ensure proper data masking and anonymization techniques are applied.
  7. Define and enforce data retention policies for test environments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Conduct regular audits and assessments of test data quality, integrity, and security controls.
  9. Provide training and support to project teams on test data management practices, tools, and techniques.
  10. Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
  11. Participate in the evaluation and selection of test data management tools and technologies.
  12. Monitor industry trends and advancements in test data management practices and tools to recommend improvements and optimizations.
  13. Prepare documentation, including test data management plans, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on test data management during audits, assessments, and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. Proven experience working as a Test Data Management Consultant or similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of software development and testing processes, including Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  4. Experience with test data management tools and technologies such as Informatica TDM, IBM Optim, Delphix, or similar.
  5. Knowledge of data masking, anonymization, subsetting, and synthetic data generation techniques.
  6. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
  7. Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
  8. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  11. Certification in test data management or related areas is a plus.
