Title: Sr. Acquisition/Contract Specialist

Location: *** Primarily virtual (some visits to the client site in the Washington, DC metropolitan area will be required) ***

Clearance Level: Must possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Summary/Description:

The Sr. Acquisition/Contract Specialist is responsible for the establishment of service and support agreements with other DoD or federal organizations, to include federally funded research and development centers. Service and support agreements shall include Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), Memorandums of Agreements (MOA), Interagency Agreements (IAA), System Interface Agreements (SIA), and Interconnectivity Security Agreements (ISA), Service Level Agreements (SLA) and associated certification and accreditation documents.

Specific Duties include, but may not limited to:

  • Assist customer with the establishment of service and support agreements with DoD or federal organizations, to include federally funded research and development centers.
  • Assist the customer in the information gathering and preparation of service and support agreements.
  • Assist the Government in tracking and managing of established agreements.
  • Update and track the processing and completion of service and support agreements.
  • Complete, and update draft agreements based on approved templates and information provided by the program POC and/or external mission partners.
  • Establish procedures and techniques for analyzing and evaluating performance against standards and developing/validating data sources.
  • Periodically review support arrangements between the support integrators and support providers to ensure the arrangements are consistent with the overall support agreement and report their findings to the government program / agreement manager.
  • Assist with preparing agreement support information and documentation for submittal into the customer system of record.

Required Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, finance, acquisition, procurement, or contracting.
  • Must have 10-years' experience creating procurement package documentation (performance work statements, cost estimates, market research reports, etc.), and 7-years DoD contracting experience.

Preferred Knowledge:

Experience procuring IT systems support services is desirable
