Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end services to support innovative, data-centered healthcare applications
- Build cloud-based microservices with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance, ensuring high standards for uptime and accuracy
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into high-quality code
- Support big data, data warehousing, business intelligence, and machine learning services within a DevOps model
- Enable seamless CI/CD integration using tools such as Azure DevOps, Puppet, Chef, and Terraform
- Document processes and maintain source code for knowledge sharing and effective troubleshooting
- Apply expert troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve system issues, driving continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software development
- Front-End Development: React, React Native
- Programming Languages: C#, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Frameworks: .NET
- Infrastructure: FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources)
- Backend Development: REST APIs, Microservices, Node.js
- Database Management: Proficiency with both relational (e.g., MSSQL, MS Access) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, CouchDB) databases
- DevOps and Development Tools: Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, SSMS, SSIS
- Reporting: SSRS
- Platforms: Experience with Azure and GCP
- Operating Systems: Windows
- General Software: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Knowledge of healthcare industry technologies, including the Epic EHR system
- Familiarity with additional tools and frameworks, such as JetBrains Suite, Tableau, Linux/Unix, Visio, Oracle, Postgres, Vue, Angular
- Experience creating pipelines in Azure DevOps and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Proven experience in designing scalable, high-performance applications
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a commitment to best practices throughout the software development life cycle
- Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in cloud-based development, big data, and data analytics
Benefits
Trissential offers a competitive compensation package for full time roles. The hourly pay range for this role is $65 to $69 depending on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; up to 48 hours of accrued paid safe and sick time, and 401k retirement savings.
