Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Mentorship: Provide ongoing evaluation, mentoring, and development for all patient care staff involved in care delivery.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to agency policies, state and federal laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Manager On-Call Rotation: Participate in the on-call rotation to address urgent patient needs.
- Talent Acquisition: Assist in maintaining adequate staffing levels by recruiting and retaining skilled professionals.
- IDT Meetings: Coordinate and facilitate interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to enhance collaboration.
- Quality Assurance and Improvement: Contribute to quality assurance efforts and performance improvement initiatives.
- Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid RN Texas License.
- CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse) certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Hospice experience (required).
- At least 1 year of People Management experience.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
