Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Work in a warehouse environment processing orders and moving boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials. The work is very physical, requiring the manual lifting, carrying, and moving/arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting. Employees must be able to lift and carry boxes ranging in weight from 10-40lbs on a regular basis. Employees must be able to load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks for transporting materials. Documents are confidential. This is a physically demanding job.

Responsibilities

  • Process orders and move boxes of various materials including files, books, binders, and backup tapes.

  • Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.

  • Lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-40lbs regularly.

  • Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks for transporting materials.

  • Maintain confidentiality of documents.

Work Environment

Warehouse environment. Non-climate controlled and can be dusty depending on workload. Think large paperwork/physical data storage facility. Fast-paced. Must be able to work well with others. This position is based out of Portland, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
