Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess existing on-premises server infrastructure and determine migration requirements
  • Design, plan, and execute the migration of on-premises servers to Azure cloud, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
  • Utilize advanced knowledge in SQL Server databases and SQL scripting to update databases and create tables, views, and procedures
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely client deliverables, including A/R analyses, biweekly reports, and ad hoc reports
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation
  • Organize and transform large volumes of data to meet critical migration deadlines.
  • Monitor and optimize Azure SQL databases and cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance
  • Collaborate with development teams to coordinate server and application migrations.
  • Document migration processes and provide training to team members as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with Azure cloud services and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements as required
  • Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues
  • Handle protected health information (PHI) daily with strict security and integrity
  • Perform other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education / Experience :
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst with expertise in SQL Server and Azure SQL
  • Strong knowledge and skills in SQL Server relational databases, including SQL scripting
  • Proficiency in Azure SQL and its integration within Azure cloud services
  • Experience in server migration projects, especially on-premises to Azure cloud
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI
  • In-depth understanding of Azure cloud services, networking, and security
  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring and optimization best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Analyst Associate) are a plus


Working Conditions:
  • Will work in high volume work environment that may require overtime as necessary
  • May sit for long periods of time
  • Primarily works inside throughout the year, but some travel to client locations may be required
  • Typing and reading on a computer
  • Communicating in person, through e-mail, telephone, and written correspondence
  • Standing, stooping, pushing, reaching and pulling may be required
