Job Summary:

The Warehouse Technician I will be responsible for a variety of shipping and receiving duties. The technician will also maintain stockroom items, manufacture and test thermocouples, and provide pick up and delivery services for customer equipment.

On-Site Expectations:

  • 100% on-site position.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain organization of equipment and stockroom.
  • Assemble incoming and outgoing equipment orders.
  • Track inventory and equipment in ERP database.
  • Processes thermocouple orders including manufacturing and testing of thermocouples.
  • Monitor and maintain metrics for Warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate with Calibration department for calibration of Alcami equipment.
  • Process incoming and outgoing equipment for customers.
  • Package equipment for a safe transit.
  • Verify paperwork matches items to be shipped.
  • Process shipments online.
  • Document tracking numbers and shipping charges.
  • Maintain housekeeping in shipping/receiving area.
  • Perform customer pickups and deliveries.
  • Prep validation equipment for use.
  • Verify paperwork matches items received.
  • Log new items into asset log as required.
  • Communicate with Customer Care in regard to customer equipment.
  • Tag equipment and goods and disperse to appropriate department.
  • Report received damaged goods to Manager, Customer Care, and/or Customer.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
  • Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and Form Docs.
  • Electronic, electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Travel Expectations:

  • 25% travel expected - weekly pick-up and delivery to local customers.

Your vision requirements will include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. You will regularly work in a lab and office environment, occasionally work in wet or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, be at risk of electrical shock and vibration. This position works with a moderate noise level.
