Friendship is looking for passionate Full Time Nurse Supervisor (RN/LPN) to join our Friendship Richfield team, located on Knollridge Road in Salem, who want to make a difference in the lives of others. The ideal candidate must hold a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license.

Full-Time Sign On Bonus - Upon hire you are eligible for $10,000 paid out in equal installments beginning our your first paycheck continuing every paycheck until you have reached 18 months of employment.

Shift Available:

  • FT 8 hour shift 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. including every other weekend
Qualifications:
  • Must be a licensed LPN or RN in the state of VA or eligible to sit for boards in the state of VA
  • BLS preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all nursing activity occurring on shift and will serve as first responder in the event of an emergency
  • Observe resident care; document condition changes, significant reactions and incidents
  • Directs activities of nursing staff, assigns and supervises all duties, determines staffing needs and handles disciplinary actions as needed
  • Supervise medication administration, implement all physician orders, order blood work, and maintain supplies
  • Complete new resident admissions
  • Respond to incoming admission calls/referrals and provide appropriate follow up
  • Provide direct care to residents including preparing and administering medications
  • Prepare and complete electronic documentation
