The Adolescent Unit at Sheppard Pratt's Baltimore/Washington Campus in Howard County is a safe and secure 17-bed inpatient unit specifically designed for adolescents ages 12-17.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Perform a full range of occupational therapy services according to professional standards.
  • Screen patients, provide functional assessments, develop goals and modalities for treatment plans, and provide direct services for individuals and groups for assigned caseload.
  • Document and report patient progress to treatment team and assists in training, orienting, and evaluating the performance of occupational therapy interns and volunteers.
Requires:
  • Current knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice in the field of psychosocial dysfunction obtained through academic and clinical internship requirements of a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
  • Must possess current license to practice as an occupational therapist in the State of Maryland at the time of appointment and continuously during tenure in position.
