42 North Dental has been providing dental care in New England for over 30 years. Become part of an orthodontic team providing excellence in orthodontic dental care with a focus on quality, service and patient satisfaction. The Orthodontic Assistant will provide clinical support to the orthodontist to facilitate the relationship between the patient and the dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care and maintain communication between dentists, patient and administrative staff to insure a positive patient experience. Requires local travel between locations.
Requires local travel between the following locations: Nashua, South Nashua, Manchester, South Manchester, Derry, and Exeter
Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel required. Mileage reimbursement provided.
Responsibilities- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Chairside assisting
- Taking intra and extra oral photographs
- Proper impression techniques for a variety of orthodontic appliances
- Laboratory work
- Provide post operative instructions and patient education
- Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
- Maintain orthodontic supply inventory
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
- C.O.A. preferred
- Strong verbal skills
- Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
- Embrace a positive team approach to patient care
