Shipping Freight Handler

Responsibilities
  • Pull labels from inventory as required on shipping pick lists and stage for shipping.
  • Pick/Pack parts and equipment from inventory as required per customer's order.
  • Process all inventory transactions accurately and in a timely manner (attention to detail is a must).
  • Keep stock room accurate, organized, and clean.
  • Put away parts transferred from receiving to the stock room.
  • Process inventory transactions and cycle counts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Stack cartons on pallets, band, and shrink wrap for outgoing shipments.
  • Process orders on the computer to print pack list and address labels.
  • Process small parcel orders at the UPS/FEDEX station.
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient way (includes pallet jacks, standup & sit-down forklift trucks, and order picking trucks).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and UPS/FedEx software preferred.
  • Good communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs., 25% of the time.
