What You'll Do:
  • Oversee self-advocacy groups.
  • Develop peer engagement groups and activities.
  • Oversee community engagement opportunities.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Provide family consultation services or adult life planning.
  • Support individuals in crisis.
  • Provide onsite supervision for social work interns.
  • Provide onsite supervision for interns in art therapy, music therapy, mental health programs, or other disciplines.
  • Assist with the recruitment, orientation, and assignment of all therapists and interns in all therapeutic disciplines needed by specific individuals to implement their individual plans i.e. speech/language, art, dance, music, social work, etc.
  • Provide support to therapists/interns delivering services at CSS including the arranging schedules for individual and group sessions, identifying the proper space for sessions, and facilitating communication.
  • Assist with quality assurance procedures including an Annual Preference Interview for each individual and site visits to ensure individual satisfaction.
  • Participate in the admissions process for new individuals.
  • Participate in special topic committees to develop and monitor innovative individual activities and implement new ideas.
  • Provide staff training in areas of need such as working with families, team building, assessment, mental health topics and other related areas
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in clinical social work through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical License
  • Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of databases and data analysis procedures, ability to learn and use new databases and software, excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a team, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with and knowledge of data privacy requirements, including HIPAA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing culturally competent care.
