Make a difference as a Bus Driver - Child Care Programs

As a Bus Driver for our Child Care Programs at YMCA of Greater Toledo, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our young program participants. Your responsibilities will include providing reliable transportation to and from various program sites, all while fostering a positive and encouraging environment onboard the bus. In addition to your primary duties, you may also have the opportunity to lend a helping hand in other areas as needed. To thrive as a Bus Driver within our Child Care Programs at YMCA of Greater Toledo, having some key skills and qualifications is essential. Ideally, candidates will possess at least 6 months of previous work experience as a bus driver, although this is not mandatory. Familiarity with and adherence to the rules and guidelines concerning vans and commercial passenger vehicles (bus) is crucial for ensuring the safety and security of our young passengers.

Additionally, having a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for working with children are all valuable assets that will contribute to your success in this role.
