Compliance Analyst

Overview: We are looking for a teammate to advance our compliance risk management program in the payment division of a technology company at the nexus of healthcare and financial services. As an Associate on the Payments Compliance & Risk team, you will be charged with supporting critical compliance projects, programs, and processes across our team, payments division, and company more broadly. You will bring exceptional communication skills with high EQ and self-awareness to collaborate across a range of stakeholders. Additionally, a pro-active attitude and forward thinking will help drive operational excellence and success across the program. Responsibilities: Drive planning and adoption of compliance program projects, frameworks, as well as Learning and Development initiatives. Support assessment and delivery of strategic initiatives and critical projects intended to elevate awareness and profile of the compliance program. Serve as a key support function across the compliance team and assist in preparation for key meetings, presentations, and decision-making junctions. Help drive innovation and change in processes and execution across our compliance program and related initiatives. Support creation of compliance program presentations and materials while owning highly visible written communications spanning the business. Drive organization and delivery of special projects autonomously and through partnership with cross functional teams. Skills: Demonstrate strong communications proficiency, including across teams and organizations, and have experience utilizing oral and written communication skills along with presentation skills. Have the ability to multitask with simultaneous projects and tasks, while demonstrating urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion. Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to be goal/execution-oriented. Be able to react seamlessly to change in priorities and delivery focus. Be self-motivated. Be capable of balancing strategy and tactical delivery. Execute a strategic approach to all things especially process and operations. Experiences/Background: Bachelor’s Degree; an advanced degree is a plus with prior experience in risk management or consulting roles. 5-7 years of experience preferably with a fast-growing tech startup, financial technology company, or consulting firm or equivalent. Excellent track record in project/program management, a plus if you have financial services industry experience. Experience writing communications and presentations for leadership and non-leadership audiences. Experience across a variety of diverse operational functions, such as budgeting, planning, meetings development and execution. Experience collecting, analyzing, and measuring process data to initiate sustainable business practices and procedures and to report to senior leadership and executives. Experience collaborating closely with various business, legal, risk, and operational teams and the ability to develop and implement collaborative processes.
