Responsibilities include:

  • assisting the design team with preparation of roadway plans
  • performing design calculations and geometrics
  • preparing design reports
  • performing site visits on roadway projects
  • assisting with quantity take-offs and cost estimates

A valid driver's license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil and Environmental Engineering
  • Basic Engineering CAD drafting Knowledge Using Auto-Cad or MicroStation
  • Analytical and Quantitative Skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; transportation coursework

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

  • EIT or ability to pass FE exam within six month of hire date
  • transportation related coursework
  • previous internship in civil or transportation engineering
  • reading engineering plans, contours and drafting.
  • AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software programs
