Job Summary:

The Epic Healthy Planet Analyst II is a technical, fast-paced, detail oriented and challenging position. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. Under the minimal supervision of a manager or director and according to established policy and procedures, the Healthy Planet Analyst II performs complex system analysis, design, integration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and planning of assigned applications and/or projects. Directly interacts with assigned department managers and staff to provide automation services in support of department's strategic and operational objectives. Plans, coordinates, develops, and provides appropriate training for managers and users. Ensures development of training materials, production of continuity workbooks, documentation of standard operating procedures and user checklists. Serves as the contact and liaison with user community and vendor. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of TGH. Participates in department and hospital task forces, focus groups and/or committees as assigned by their supervisor to meet the group objectives. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

Epic Healthy Planet certification required or population health experience. High School or GED required and 2+ years of information technology experience. Advanced competencies with basic computer-based programs and job-related applications and Microsoft Office software. Must be familiar with the following:

  • Care management workflows and wellness programs
  • Health plan concepts
  • Epic registries, reporting workbench, radar dashboards, health maintenance
  • Implementing Healthy Planet External Data
  • General claims concepts, like adjustment tracking, patient rosters, attribution, eligibility etc.
  • Experience working with payers, payer files and external system integration (claims code sets, standard claims formatting)
  • Epic work queues, Roster Management Engine, Caboodle, Datalink, Cost & Utilization Dashboard
