Job DescriptionThe HR Generalist manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs for his/her assigned facility. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resources Information System (ADP), associate relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment. ResponsibilitiesIdentifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliancePartners with Compensation team to conduct wage surveys within labor market or analyze wage and salary data to determine competitive compensation planRecruits, interviews, tests, and selects associates to fill vacant positionsCoordinates new hire and new leader orientationsCoordinates training and cross-training activities within facilitiesAssist with hosting events designed to increase morale and company cultureEnsure facility leadership is fully trained and is up to date on all performance management activities (including but not limited to reviews, goal setting, development planning, Partners with corporate HR team to formally and informally investigate and advise management in appropriate resolution of associate relations issuesWrites and responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programsPrepares associate separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separationsPrepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnoverRepresents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations when neededProcesses temporary labor requests to fill needs within facilities BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision (short wait period) (multiple options available).401(k) with matching program.Company paid short term disability.Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.Friendly and Open-Door culture. Salary Range:$65K - $75KRequirements2+ years experience as an HR specialist, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or business-related field preferredStrong oral and written skill setStrong organizational skillsExperience with ADP platforms, including E-Time, Enterprise, ADPRM helpfulAbility to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 operationBi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
