MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Lead to oversee radiographic operations during the evening shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday). This full-time, permanent leadership role offers the opportunity to manage a dynamic team of radiologic technologists, ensuring efficient and high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the evening X-ray team, ensuring optimal workflow and timely execution of imaging services.
- Advanced Imaging: Perform advanced radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy and complex X-rays, when necessary.
- Technical Support: Act as a technical resource, troubleshooting equipment issues and providing expertise on imaging technologies.
- Collaboration: Partner with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and prompt diagnostic imaging.
- Staff Oversight: Manage staff scheduling, coordinate shift activities, and ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of procedures, patient data, and team performance.
- Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related discipline.
- Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Licensure: State licensure, as required.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an X-ray Technician, with 1 year in a supervisory or lead position.
