Lockheed Martin is seeking a strong experienced electrical technical lead for an Electronic Safe Arm Device (ESAD) design. The Electrical Engineering Tech Lead will support the overall project Tech Lead in providing expert electrical design support and technical leadership to the EE design team.

What You Will Be Doing

As an ESAD Electrical Tech Lead, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Layout and mask design, device evaluation and characterization, test box design

- Prototype construction and checkout, and determination of wafer fabrication processes

- Preparing test methods and specifications

- Analyzing equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests

- Providing finished device approval; and prepares customer application information

Candidates filling this position will need a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of twelve years of professional experience

- Experience in leading teams for electronic design development

- Experience designing safety electronic including circuitry for ESADs (Electronic Safe/Arm Device), ESAFs (Electronic Safe/Arm/Fuse or Fire), or ISDs (ignition Safety Device).

- Ability to develop system Architecture and derive requirement for electronic hardware design from customer specification and government standards.

- Demonstrated highly effective communication skills

- Ability to obtain Secrete Clearance

Desired Skills:

- Experience with MFC electronics design, integration, and test is preferred

- Experience with Safety Design Requirements for

- Experience with Safety hardware government specification (MIL-STD-1316, MIL-STD-331, MIL-STL-23659, etc.)

- Experience with Safety Electronic government standard is preferred (JOTP-051 to JOTP-53)

- Multi-discipline engineering leadership experience is a plus.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
