As a Controls Support Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting the Controls team. The ideal candidate will have Fanuc, Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, and controls experience which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Controls Support Engineer (long term contract) Location: Rocky Mount, NC (onsite) Pay: 40-55/hr depending on experience Key Responsibilities • Develop all aspects of control systems, equipment, and machinery • Develop and implement bench tests and alter equipment to ensure that sensors and actuators are functioning according to specifications • Lead the support and debugging of complex systems problems and change requests • Prepare cost estimates, compile required cost and equipment information, and write and review appropriation requests • Design and implement new Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) solutions, specify equipment and materials for projects, and help with installation, startup, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance and operation. Requirements • Extensive experience can substitute for Degree.
