This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, starting at $13.96 per hour, with an increase to $15.85 per hour upon completion of training. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Do you take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces? Are you ready to join the excitement of a dynamic environment? As a Housekeeping Team Member at Akins Ford Arena, you'll play a key role in maintaining a spotless, inviting atmosphere for every event.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Event Excellence: Work alongside a dedicated team to keep the arena pristine and ready for events, from hockey and concerts to basketball and unique gatherings.
  • Daily Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform essential cleaning tasks across all areas, including office spaces, public areas, and restrooms, ensuring a tidy, organized, and fresh space for everyone.
  • Handle Materials & Equipment: Lift and manage items such as trash, event supplies, and discarded materials, keeping the arena clean and event-ready.
  • Operate Cleaning Equipment: Utilize tools like vacuums, scrubbers, and extractors to maintain floors and other surfaces - each day offers a fresh set of tasks
  • Maintain Facility Appearance: Polish windows, mirrors, fixtures, and walls to keep spaces looking sharp and inviting.
  • Prioritize Safety: Follow all safety guidelines to protect yourself, your team, and our guests, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.
  • Be a Guest Experience Ambassador: Collaborate with the entire Akins Ford Arena team to extend hospitality and create a welcoming environment for every guest.
