We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the disability benefits process for the VA. This role involves reviewing electronic medical records, performing in-person physical exams, and documenting exam findings. Please note that disability determinations are made by the United States Veterans Administration, and this position does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. The schedule for this part-time role is 3 days per week from 8am to 4pm, and it is an in-person position. Key attributes for this role include an interest in performing independent medical assessments, strong time management skills, and a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license. Training and continued support are provided, and health insurance options are available.   • Interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments
  • Able to analyze data from the medical records and exam findings to complete the questionnaire and form medical opinions
  • Skilled in time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements
  • Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
  • Proficiently use a computer

Typical day: 3 to 5 patients a day
