POSITION: Robotics Workshop Engineer

TRAVEL : 5-10% of time

YOUR ROLE:

As the Robotics Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for executing the in-house robotics services activities such as repair, preventive maintenance, and refurbishment of company's robotics equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform in-house preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and troubleshooting on the company's robots.

• Ensure quality of repairs by:

o Following established check in / check out procedures

o Following established Field Service Procedure, Bulletin documents

o Documenting and maintaining records of all actions in the CRM Service Request

• Provide detailed reports about the work performed on the repair.

• Conduct testing and calibration of the robots after the repair to ensure accurate and reliable performance.

• Maintain a clean and organized workshop area.

• Communicate to all internal and external customers the status of repairs.

• Preparation of systems to support our sales activities.

• Enforce safety procedures to create and guaranty a safe working environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree or higher with equivalent technical education and experience

• Mechanical/Electrical troubleshooting, teardown, and repair experience

• Experience with software and firmware installation and maintenance.

• Automation and / or robotics service experience preferred.

• Willing and able to undertake travel up to 10% of the time – may be more during training.

• Attention to detail, work accuracy and quality orientated

• Training may require international travel.

SKILLS:

• Strong organizational skills, 5S experience a plus

• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical prints and related technical documentation.

• Ability to effectively use a PC and Microsoft Office applications.

• Quality and customer service driven to consistently satisfy internal and external customers

• Good technical writing and communication skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful

• Positive, professional attitude

• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships based on mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with manager(s), co-workers, customers and/or vendors

• Reacts quickly and adapts to changes in priorities, circumstances, and direction

• Works effectively with minimal supervision and able to track multiple projects

• Strong technical background with customer-oriented attitude
