Implementation Specialist

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of projects assigned. Provide direction and ensure follow through from beginning to end on projects. Ensures overall progress of assigned project through implementation: monitor daily tasks, ensure project schedule is being met, identifies risks and escalates information as needed, and providing management with reporting of project status. Ensures projects are ready for launch and conducts post-project meetings to ensure smooth transition to operations.
This role will be worked from the 7400 Gaylord Pkwy office in Frisco, TX; three days per week and two from home.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and managing the more complex, as well as, standard projects from inception to implementation
- Ensures the project is properly documented during implementation for a smooth transition to standard operational processes
- Participates in project meetings involving customers, partners, and cross-functional teams
- Participates in developing improvements to current project management procedures
- Participates in training of Implementation Specialists
- Provide proper reporting on project status
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Pro-active and detail oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to train Specialists
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ year experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager experience
- Experience using WorkZone or similar task manager software is a plus
