Female physical therapist owned practice is looking for an amazing physical therapist to join our team Ideal candidate enjoys working mainly with orthopedics and must have great manual therapy skills, or is eager to learn. Opportunity to work with pelvic health, if interested but not required. Professional development is encouraged through continuing education allowance. Positive work environment with focus on patient care, not volume Mentorship available for new graduates. Benefits include vacation time, sick time, medical, dental, vision, generous con-ed and 401k. Opportunity for growth into health and wellness. Doctorate degree preferred, but not required. We are looking for a team player who passionate about providing the best care for their patients through building relationships and evidence based practice. Foreign trained physical therapists and new graduates welcome to apply
Job duties include:
Evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and some neurological conditions
Progress reports to be completed once every 30 days
Communication with referring provider as necessary
Caseload: 1-2 patients per hour
60 minute evaluations, 30 minute follow-ups
Develop a customized plan for each patient
Provide discharge report at completion of care
Strong manual therapy skills or desire to learn
Delegation to technicians when appropriate
Supervision of PTA
EMR computer documentation
Friendly, caring demeanor
