Summary of Job Description:

Incumbent researches and develops quality recreation and leisure programs for implementation in the Tribal community in conjunction with the Program Manager.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to develop educational and program materials for all ages
  • Ability to work with various age groups including children and elders
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of group dynamics and conflict resolution
  • Ability to work collaboratively and organize work
  • Basic Word & Excel skills
  • Must be able to participate in program activities (such as chaperoning trips) and work a flexible schedule
  • Valid driver's license from state of residence
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Three (3) years' experience in helping to plan, develop and manage recreational programs
  • First Aid and CPR certifications required (will train)
