What your day-to-day will look like:
- Perform data analysis and provide insights by collecting, cleansing and validating data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Identify patterns, trends and anomalies in collected data and translate findings into actionable recommendations for business growth and process improvement
- Perform end-to-end process evaluation by mapping and analyzing processes across departments and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and optimization
- Create alert reporting to proactively identify potential concerns or issues to be reviewed/actioned by operational teams
- Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize KPIs, performance metrics and operational trends
- Create clear and concise reports, dashboards and visualizations to generate compelling narratives around data insights and present findings to leadership and operational team
- Work with cross functional teams to understand and translate future needs and develop proposed solutions that will improve and enhance processes
What you'll need to excel:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of experience in transportation, logistics or process improvement
It'd be great if you also have:
- Experience in Supply Chain/Logistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Proficient understanding of lean methodologies
- Large scale project and implementation experience
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or QlikView
- Competent data analysis and manipulation knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
