Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Please see managers comments: Since this is a Manufacturing Engineering position, they should have a minimum of a BS in Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering. 2+ experience required** They should have thorough mechanically / electrically oriented manufacturing engineering experience (ideally in the Aerospace industry). Some of the resumes indicate that they have ME experience, but it is in food or chemical. Also, some resumes show that they have manufacturing engineering experience as a planner, but not technical manufacturing engineering experience solving problems or responsible It is also important for them to have completed a significant manufacturing engineering project, ideally one where they led a team to accomplish the individual project tasks.
