Job Title: Registered Nurse Telemetry I Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital experience License: Active RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Experience in cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading tele strips Job Description: - Willingness to float between 8 different units within the hospital.- Undertake cardiac monitoring, manage cardiac drips, and interpret telemetry strips every 4 hours.- Knowledge and experience with TR Band.- The clinician-to-patient ratio is 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 at night.- Provide care for emergency department border patients.- Serve as a medication nurse in acute mental health units.- Care for non-vented patients who are transfer-ready in the ICU.- Experience with EMR systems such as EPIC, Omnicell, and Kronos.- Ability to work nights and every other weekend (EOW).This is an opportunity for a skilled RN with telemetry experience to join a dynamic float pool team, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a variety of units.
