Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Management
  • Oversee a team of IT professionals, including network administrators and support specialists.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, establishing best practices for network security and operational standards.
  • Manage department budget, track expenditures, and make cost-effective decisions on resources.
  • Plan and coordinate IT projects, including technology upgrades and deployments.
Technical Oversight and Support
  • Ensure stable and secure IT infrastructure, including systems and network performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to assess technology needs and provide solutions.
  • Supervise IT maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize system downtime and address issues promptly.
  • Guide implementation of cloud services, data protection, and cybersecurity practices.
Vendor and Partner Relations
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships to optimize service agreements and procurement.
  • Monitor performance and service levels of third-party providers, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
Strategic Planning and Technology Development
  • Contribute to IT strategy development, aligning technology projects with organizational goals.
  • Identify and recommend emerging technology solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
Team Growth and Development
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the IT team, promoting skill-building and career development.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity regulations, managing data protection policies.
  • Regularly report on IT performance, system health, and security status to executive leadership.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an IT leadership role, with team management experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, systems management, and IT security.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and effective collaboration skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CISSP, PMP) are advantageous.
Technical Environment
  • Security: CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender.
  • Cloud: Microsoft Entra, Active Directory.
  • Networking: Cisco Meraki, Wireshark.
  • Service Desk: SysAid, ConnectWise.
  • Project Management: Asana, MS Teams.
  • Additional Technologies: Windows, Linux, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, PDQ Deploy, and various Apple iOS devices.
