Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processor 2

Location: Glen Allen VA 23059

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Pay Rate: $21 HR

Job Description:

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

Need someone with mortgage servicing background, using MSP servicing system of record, understands delinquent mortgage loan servicing, mortgage foreclosure and or bankruptcy. Can read and understand mortgage docs and a title policy, and title reports.. Has intermediate skillset with EXCEL, types well, advanced communication skills, is able to work remote yet come on site possibly as much as 1 day a week, notary is helpful, enjoys research and using various resources to complete research. Knows when to escalate issues to management, is a team player , accepts direction from team mates whether in training or assisting. Has strong listening skills and is able to apply directions to their daily work. This is a clean up project and we will have to train the individual to work TASK report in MSP ( our servicing system) so knowledge and experience with MSP is almost a requirement.

Responsible for reviewing new loan application requests to ensure that all required forms and/or documentation have been provided by the borrower.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience. 5-7 years of loan processing experience in a mortgage banking company or related financial institution required. 5-7 years of experience working with FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and standard industry guidelines required.

5-7 years of experience of state and federal lending regulations (e.g. Respa, Reg Z, Ecoa, State Fair Lending) required.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Bank personnel, customers, and outside agencies in both verbalwritten form.
  • Computer literate with experience using, Word and industry standard mortgage software, preferably InterLink E3.
  • Ability to work under deadlines. Good organization and planning skills. Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and sends out all pertinent regulatory compliance disclosures for single family 1-4 properties.
  • Works in a team environment gathering outstanding conditions and upon receipt performs analysis and prepares files for closing documents.
  • Provides support to the Residential Lending Officer, underwriting and documentation and closing departments. Assists supervisor and underwriting area in pipeline planning.
