Job Summary

The Product Owner plays a pivotal role in advancing Midmark's mission of improving the experience between patients and caregivers by managing and optimizing the Salesforce Commerce platform. This role ensures that our digital eCommerce solutions align with our vision to transform healthcare experiences through innovative design. The Product Owner collaborates across teams to harmonize space, technology, and workflows, creating scalable solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support business growth. Leveraging Agile Scrum methodology, the Product Owner drives strategic development, risk mitigation, and solution discovery to deliver impactful outcomes that reflect Midmark's commitment to designing better care.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Product Ownership:
    • Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for the Salesforce Commerce platform.
    • Establish and communicate a clear vision, defining the minimum viable product (MVP) and solution roadmap.
    • Partner with Product Managers and Solution Architects to align on user stories and prioritize features to meet business objectives.
  • Delivery Leadership:
    • Lead Agile teams in delivering technology solutions, ensuring on-time, quality releases.
    • Collaborate with Scrum Masters to manage Sprint planning, address roadblocks, and ensure timely solution delivery.
    • Align solution documentation with the organization's Quality Management System.
  • Strategic Partnering:
    • Act as a liaison with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet customer and market needs.
    • Utilize design thinking methods to gather insights and translate them into actionable business requirements.
    • Conduct feasibility analyses, cost evaluations, and due diligence on new business opportunities.
  • Customer-Centric Focus:
    • Engage in customer focus groups and advisory boards to refine and align solutions with user expectations.
    • Foster a deep understanding of customer challenges, leveraging insights to drive platform success and adoption.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Promote and coach Agile practices to improve software delivery outcomes.
    • Monitor and analyze performance, applying feedback to enhance team processes and solution effectiveness.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Agile/Scrum Product Owner certification is preferred.
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience in digital system development and product management.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce or similar eCommerce technologies is highly desirable.
