Your Opportunity: ComplyRight is seeking a Scrum Master

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, and QA teams to understand business objectives, timelines and risks of projects to make sure team progresses efficiently to meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies including daily stand up, retrospective, refinement, planning, deployment preparation, and other meetings as needed.
  • Mediate team decisions to help achieve alignment on sprint goals, capacity, and scope of work.
  • Enforce prioritization of work according to product owner needs and troubleshoot meeting distractions to rein team back into meeting objectives.
  • Analyze developer capacity each sprint cycle to ensure sprint capacity is filled at the start, and velocity of completed work is in alignment with work estimates.
  • Assist in identifying and alleviating developer impediments to keep team on target to meet goals.
  • Ensure continuous organization of projects by helping team members adopt agile methodology as fitting for our business needs.
  • Generate reports including but not limited to developer capacity, sprint velocity, and sprint burn down in order to track KPIs and communicate to stakeholders.
You Must Have:
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Proficient knowledge of scrum agile framework
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and project management principles
  • 3+ years of experience leading Scrum Agile teams
  • Proficient in Jira and other Atlassian products including confluence
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Expert at reading, writing, speaking English
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products including Excel
