Title: Data Product Owner

Location: Georgetown, KY. Travel required.

Duration: 6 month contract to start

Compensation: $50 - 59 per hour

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

The client is in need of a Product Owner to provide product leadership, strategy, roadmap, and business need support. The D&A space has historically been fragmented and inconsistent, resulting in duplicative efforts and no holistic roadmap across multiple teams. There is a need of a Product Owner to lead one of the D&A spaces building out in the manufacturing space of this client.
• Vision and Strategy:
• Develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for data products that align with the company's strategic goals.
• Identify key challenges and opportunities where data can provide solutions.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Foster a collaborative environment to drive the development and adoption of data products2.
• Product Development:
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and prioritize them based on business impact1.
• Oversee the development lifecycle of data products, ensuring they are built efficiently and meet user needs.
• Data Governance:
• Ensure data products adhere to company-wide governance policies, including data quality, security, and compliance.
• Maintain clean, secure, and accurate data within the products.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Manage stakeholder expectations by keeping them informed about the progress and gathering feedback to refine product requirements.
• dvocate for the use of data products to drive smarter business decisions.
• Performance Metrics:
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products.
• Use data-driven insights to continuously improve product performance and user satisfaction.
