Digital Turbine is seeking a Lead Full Stack Web Developer to join our team to develop and deliver high-quality web-centric solutions that are optimized for mobile devices. Our team creates compelling native, web, hybrid, and responsive mobile user interfaces and experiences that drive high user engagement for users around the world. You will work with a distributed development team that focuses primarily on web-centric interfaces delivered within modern native and mobile web/browser applications and use cases. Our engineers work in an agile, cross-functional software development methodology and lifecycle. We expect you to lead by example and be a strong individual contributor while also helping to mentor and coach others on the team.

About the Role of the Lead Full Stack Web Developer:

    • Work closely with the engineering, QA, product, and design teams on a daily basis.
    • Architect, design, develop, test (unit, component, e2e, etc.), and review code with a focus on quality.
    • Lead by example during stand-ups, team meetings, and help solve problems.
    • Monitor and help troubleshoot dev, sandbox, QA, and production environments.
    • Leverage and implement industry best practices to maximize software development performance, efficiency, and quality.
    • Help identify and document Intellectual Property and IP/patent claims that arise from innovative solutions and ideas.
About You as the Lead Full Stack Web Developer:
    • 8+ years of full stack development experience.
    • Mastery of HTML, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS and API consumption.
    • Ability to work in an Agile development environment (scrum, kanban, etc)
    • Proficiency with Typescript, React, and Node.
    • Proficiency utilizing cloud computing platforms (AWS or GCP).
    • Proficiency in CDNs.
    • Desire and ability to thrive in a distributed, collaborative, team-oriented, and results focused environment.
    • Data driven decision making and familiarity utilizing KPI's and OKR's to determine successful outcomes.
    • Deadline driven and a "ship it" mindset without sacrificing quality or features/functionality.
    • BS in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience.
Hands on experience with the following platforms and languages is a plus:
    • Docker and Linux.
    • Handlebars Templates.
    • CI/CD Setup and Configuration, Google Analytics.
    • Familiarity with Chrome, Chromium, Android Web Views, Android Remote Views, Trusted Web Activities.
    • Previous work with WCAG accessibility guidelines.
    • Some experience with secure transactions (https, SSL key management, etc).
    • Exposure to localization and internationalization.
    • Familiarity with optimizing code and functionality for mobile devices (screen sizes, network connectivity, storage, page load times, caching, on-line / off-line usage, etc).
