Description

The Information Technology Intern works on an as needed basis, performing lower level IT tasks such as moving / setting up IT hardware, sitting with contractors / vendors who require an escort while in the facility, replacing toner cartridges in printers, performing the general laptop maintenance function, and working on small projects as assigned by the CIO.

Responsibilities:
  • Escort IT Contractors and Vendors while on-site
  • Coordinates office relocations and personnel moves
  • Performs laptop maintenance per IT policies
  • Acts as expert and troubleshooter on copiers and printers
  • Assists in maintaining equipment inventory
  • Acts as vacation relief as required if available
  • Resolves tickets as required, if available
  • Follow all SOPs, safety and health guidelines, and cGMP guidelines
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be progressing towards an Information Technology Degree
  • Requires basic knowledge of how desktops and printers are connected together with talking knowledge of networking
  • Requires moderate knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet quality expectations in a professional manner with minimal supervision
