A Ziegenfelder Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for:

Receive incoming raw materials:

  • Inspect truck and follow the SOP's for receiving and storing raw materials
  • Receive materials in the WMS
  • Record receipt into the receiving log. Report this to finance at the end of each month
  • Label raw material properly
  • Record lot numbers(sticks)
  • Receiving paperwork must be signed off on, raw material match what was receive. Receiving paperwork must be submitted to the appropriate person.
  • Communication with suppliers and carriers to ensure deliveries are set and properly planned
Manage inventory warehouse and online:
  • Manage par levels at the warehouse
  • Maintain, update, and edit in the WMS and inventory worksheet for accuracy
  • Assist with EOM
  • Keep track of back hauls and report to finance. No more than 5 a week
  • Review schedule at least one week in advance and communicate any possible shortages or issues.
  • Purchasing of raw materials.
Communication:
  • Responsible for communicating daily activities to Freezer Manager, Freezer staff, and operations team.
  • Communication with suppliers and carriers to ensure deliveries are set and properly planned
