We currently seek a Senior TS Engineer who will work directly with PaxeraHealth’s customers and TS team to resolve product problem calls that end-users face during the daily use of our family of products. The Senior Technical Support Engineer will focus on problem resolution, documentation and customer communication while delivering a best in KLAS customer service experience. The Senior TS Engineer will utilize internal knowledge-based articles and product training and work in conjunction with other teams to grow their skills that will help to increase their problem resolution rates and provide the highest level of technical support for customers. This is a remote position for our company that is located in Newton,MA and requires someone who is energetic and wants to be involved in a fast paced and exciting environment. You will be responsible for the following key functions: Responsibilities and Duties Acts as highest level of elevated software support to clients, providing technical assistance for support and implementations. Responds to user requests for service and investigates error messages to determine nature and extent of support needed. Provides expert support and resolution to issues from customers and staff. Attends conferences and exhibitions and trade shows as needed to ensure software and computer technical issues are resolved timely. Prepares weekly activity reports and submits on a timely basis. Provides proactive service based on system monitoring information. Performs technical tasks in assisting with project implementation such as installing virtual machines, OSs and software and scripting Helps clients to understand Paxera technologies in relation to imaging and clinical workflows. Contacts software vendors to obtain specifications, pricing, and other purchase related information needed in the selection of software. Maintains up-to-date expertise in the installation, operation and application of company products and programs and a working knowledge of a wide variety of commonly used hardware and software. Works to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations. Assists with documentation and technical support content to assist with the computer installations of company products and programs. Helps with the product setup process and IT support for product presentations to customers and visitors during trade shows. Adheres to company policies and procedures. Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information. Qualifications and Skills Prior to moving to a Senior Technical Support Engineer, all requirements for L2 Engineer must be met. BA/BS degree in computer science or related discipline or the combination of education and experience. 5 years’ experience supporting and/or implementing PACS solutions or Healthcare IT sw products that utilizes similar technologies. Prior experience working with Development or Engineering solving complex Healthcare IT sw issues. Working knowledge of healthcare standards: IHE, DICOM and HL7 Previous medical imaging experience working with large healthcare enterprises either directly as a member of the healthcare enterprise or a vendor of the healthcare enterprises. Networking: TCP/IP protocol, Ethernet, WAN, LDAP, Active Directory, Novell NetWare Excellent communication skills: Written, verbal and listening.
