Job Description:
  • Expertise in Mainframe Application Batch, database components, and scheduling tool knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Applications, Infrastructure teams, and Cloud strategy architect to decommission the Application component for Mainframe Sunset.
  • Develop and execute a detailed plan for decommissioning the mainframe application footprint with the infrastructure team.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to identify all dependencies and ensure that no critical processes are disrupted.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with the decommissioning process.
  • Validate the completeness and accuracy of the migrated data.
  • Develop backup and recovery strategies for the mainframe environment to ensure all components are accounted for before decommissioning
