Position Summary: Seeking a passionate and creative PD assistant who is interested in exploring a career in accessories and lifestyle development at Kith. The ideal candidate is a driven individual, a collaborator that will help assist the Accessories Design and PD Team in the execution of process, in order to bring the designed projects to materialization.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work alongside PD Manager across multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
• Organization of samples and trims by development stages and corresponding collections.
• Build out product WIP and keep up-to-date with all style info daily
• Track development process, and mark potential delays.
• Assist in sending out materials for overseas development, such as trim, fabric, reference samples,
and help create shipping packing slips
• Ensure product samples meet design, quality, and timeline objectives.
• Track and receive all season development packages from overseas.
• Assist with setting up new style numbers, sketch, style descriptions in the PLM system.
• Assist in gathering standards for binder pass off.
• Support PD manager with launching trials for development/ techniques as needed each season
• Market prep -organize, and gather all samples for the seasonal buy meetings.
• Collect costing information, and flagging any potential margin challenges.
Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience in product development/ production/ sourcing preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of the product development cycle and milestone
• Basic knowledge of product constructions/ trims/ hardware/ pattern/ techniques
Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite experience
• PLM and ERP System experience preferred
