Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Windchill Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL databases and the various modules within PTC Windchill, such as PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, ProjectLink, and more. This role involves aligning business processes with technical solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity, ensuring smooth integration of systems and seamless execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Design & Architecture: Design and implement Windchill solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring effective integration and functionality across different modules.
  • Module Customization & Implementation: Customize and configure Windchill modules, including PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, ProjectLink, Options and Variant Module, and Partslink Classification to meet business needs.
  • System Integration: Integrate Windchill with other platforms such as ThingWorx Foundation, Composer, and Navigate to expand and enhance business functionality.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Utilize Windchill Business Reporting tools like Cognos and Jasper to create actionable business insights and custom reports.
  • Application Development: Develop and deploy scalable applications using Core Java, J2EE, and GWT technologies to meet business requirements.
  • Database Management: Manage and optimize SQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and performance optimization.
  • Server Configuration & Web Development: Configure and maintain server environments (e.g., Apache), and develop web components using technologies such as XML, XSLT, HTML, and JSP.
  • Dashboard Management: Create and manage user-friendly web portal dashboards for easy access to business data and analytics, ensuring seamless user experience and functionality.
Required Qualifications

Experience & Expertise:
  • Profound experience with Windchill modules, including PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, ProjectLink, Options and Variant Module, and Partslink Classification.
  • Hands-on experience with ThingWorx Foundation, Composer, and Navigate.
  • Strong proficiency in Windchill Business Reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, Jasper Reporting).
  • Advanced knowledge in Core Java, J2EE, and GWT programming languages.
  • Expertise in managing SQL databases, specifically SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Technical skills in configuring and maintaining Apache environments and developing web components using XML, XSLT, HTML, and JSP.
  • Experience in developing and managing web portal dashboards to support business data and analytics.
Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in integrating additional business applications with Windchill systems.
  • Certifications or training in PTC Windchill, ThingWorx, or related technologies are a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
Certifications
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Windchill, PTC, Java or SQL certifications) are a plus but not required.
Education & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience as a Windchill Solution Architect or in a similar technical role with a focus on enterprise-level software solutions.
