The Material Handler Automation 2 is responsible for manually picking cases in pallet, flow rack and top off zones.

• Manually stack cases on top of pallets based on the pick ticket, apply pick ticket to pallet, operate pallet release controls once pallet has been built and released by palletizer
• Placement of product on conveyor system in pallet replenishment and flow rack replenishment zones using wristworn devices
• Produce quality pallets in the automated picking system by running equipment efficiently
• Monitor palletizer, stretch wrapper, wave pick module and printer to ensure a continuous operation and correct any system alarms
• Manually replace shrink wrap at times of wrap breakage and when wrap film roll is exhausted
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 12 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb up to 12ft.
• Ability to stand long periods of time
• Ability to demonstrate adaptability, safety, security, and initiative skills
