As a Finch AI VP of Product, you join a dynamic and Agile team playing a pivotal role clearly articulating and delivering Finch AI product vision, strategy as well as playing a part tactically as defined by Finch AI business objectives. You will work with multiple stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, and other teams to facilitate the seamless execution of AI initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Create the technical vision for the company's products and responsible for product strategy and high-level initiatives to support Finch's overall goals.
  • Successfully lead the team from the planning to execution stages of the product
  • Keeping executives up to date with the latest developments regarding the product.
  • Collaborates with business operations team in development of product management documentation, templates, governance, and continuous improvement approach as needed.
  • Know target customers well, their needs, expectations, and problems. Research target markets to evolve their product development strategies and deliver improved customer experience.
  • Meet with customers, understand their use cases, conduct focus groups, build the process and the strategy to support those customers.
  • Translate customer requirements into features
  • Create data proven process driven methods.
  • Create outcome driven statements.
  • Drive consensus across leadership: driving prioritization and data driven decisions.
  • Establish concise definitions of how the product helps customers, how it will solve their problems, and what value will it add to their lives. Ensure the product plan aligns with the overall vision and goals of the organization.
  • Create a detailed integrated platform roadmap that includes the target product market and the needs it aims to fulfill.
  • Coordinate with the software engineering teams to motivate and supervise the organization to take the necessary actions for bringing the concept and strategy of a product to life on schedule.
  • Lead and integrate market and technology research and competitive analysis to progress product and technology strategy.
  • Attend executive meetings and present product strategy initiatives and progress.
  • Attend strategic external events, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong preference for those with AI/ML/NLP Product experience
  • Experience delivering AI/ML SaaS products to the DoD and IC community.
  • Should have at least 10+ years of Product experience with prior experience as functioning in a VP, Head of Product or Sr Product Manager.
  • Master of Agile product development best practices with deep, direct experience in all skill areas and tools, including facilitation of workshops or other collaboration techniques to drive momentum and credibility within the organization.
  • Impact focus and a consistent history of delivering measurable results for both users and the business.
  • Ability to think big and small to build incremental features and prototypes in service of a larger vision.
  • Demonstrated experience working across teams to synthesize feedback and input.
  • Highly effective at identifying your stakeholders and communicating to them in a timely, clear, and concise manner, including the CPO, CEO, COO.
  • A self-motivated team player with the ability to work in fast-paced environments with minimal oversight.
  • Independent, organized yet flexible, and able to prioritize and manage your time effectively without losing sight of the big picture.
  • A team player, open to criticism from all disciplines, and seeking feedback while constantly choosing growth over being right.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Highly Preferred:
  • Experience delivering AI/ML SaaS products to the DoD and IC community.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Management, or equivalent professional experience.
