Qualifications and responsibilities for this Airframe Structures Mechanic opportunity include:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have 2+ years of aircraft manufacturing experience with courses in sheet metal services from a technical school / military OR 5+ years of aircraft manufacturing / production experience to substitute for the sheet metal course requirement
  • Able to work from drawings, sketches, pictures, or verbal specifications
  • Must be able to use calibrated tools, measuring devices, and set up and operate standard shop equipment
  • Perform sheet metal operations, install interior shell panels and complete interior operations to prepare aircraft for cabinet installation
  • Fabricate and install assemblies/sub-assemblies from blueprints, models, or instructions, using shop math for precise calculations
  • Utilize and maintain standard shop equipment and aircraft tooling for metalwork and interior installations
  • Perform quality checks, recommend production enhancements, and adhere to safety standards
